Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC)

The MTC boasts over 100 industrial members and its campus includes an advanced Manufacturing Training Centre, an Aerospace Research Centre and a High Temp Research Centre.

The collective output from these centres is pivotal to innovation in areas such as component manufacturing, assembly systems and data systems – along with automation and robotic systems. Its objectives as part of the COREF initiative include smart tools, sensors and machines, connected robotics/cobotics, augmented human (AFRC), connected smart cell and line, and demonstrators.
